Dallas vs. Clippers

Jason Kidd, Josh Howard and Jason Terry combined for 72 points Monday, powering the Dallas Mavericks' victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Kidd fired in 27, Howard 25 and Terry 20.

The win gave the Mavericks sole possession of seventh place in the Western Conference, a half-game ahead of idle Golden State and one ahead of Denver, which lost at Phoenix 132-117.

Rookie Al Thornton led the Los Angeles Clippers with 26 points and Corey Maggette added 23.
